Becoming a parent is one of the most transformative journeys in life. As someone who has experienced the joys and challenges of motherhood, supporting women and men as they transition into and navigate parenthood holds a special place in my heart. I understand that this season of life comes with unseen and unspoken challenges, and I’m here to provide the support you deserve. Beyond parenthood, I specialize in helping clients through significant life transitions, healing from trauma using EMDR, navigating relationship challenges, or rebuilding self-esteem and confidence. Life’s changes can feel overwhelming, you don’t face them alone

My goal is to promote self awareness, self acceptance, and self confidence. Together utilizing a combination of therapy and continued practice outside of our sessions to create the intentional future you desire.

Whether in person or virtually, I love to meet you where you are at. Providing a space you can kick off your shoes and relax, come as you are and leave feeling you have gained something from each and every session we have together. If you’re ready to prioritize your mental health and create lasting change, I’d be honored to walk this journey with you.

  • I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over a decade of experience supporting individuals living with persistent mental health needs and trauma. After graduating from Nova Southeastern University in 2011, I began my career working with clients navigating severe and chronic mental health challenges. Over the years, I expanded my practice to include individuals facing substance use and dual-diagnosis concerns, giving me extensive experience in walking alongside clients through complex and layered struggles.

As a virtual-only provider, I work with clients across Florida, offering flexibility and accessibility while maintaining the depth of therapeutic work. Whether you are navigating trauma, persistent mental health concerns, or life transitions, I am committed to helping you find strength and healing within yourself.

As a therapist, I specialize in using the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model to help clients explore and integrate the parts of themselves that feel rejected, hidden, or burdened by shame. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy to provide practical tools for change. My goal is to create a compassionate, supportive space where clients can find relief, self-acceptance, and resilience — even in the face of longstanding challenges.

life transitions therapist
  • Throughout my career I have joined my clients as they’ve faced the challenges of addiction, trauma, and life transitions. What I’ve learned is that healing isn’t just about managing symptoms, it’s about discovering who you are beyond the pain and creating a life that feels whole and authentic.

In our work together, we’ll start with practical tools to help you find relief in the present. From there, we’ll get to the deeper layers, exploring the roots of your struggles and making space for real, lasting change. I use approaches like EMDR and CBT, and I see wellness as a balance of both mind and body.

I especially love working with teens stepping into adulthood and adults of all ages who are ready to process trauma, navigate recovery, or move forward during times of change. My goal is to offer a safe, supportive space where you can rebuild, grow, and learn to live life on your own terms.

womens health therapist, pcos and fertility struggles
  • Hello, I am Cynthia Russell, a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) with a focus on the psychological and psychosocial impacts of PCOS, endometriosis, and other gynecological and endocrine disorders. My work is grounded in the belief that hormonal and chronic reproductive health conditions affect far more than the body—they shape identity, relationships, emotional well-being, and day-to-day functioning.

Living with PCOS and endometriosis myself, I understand the frustration, grief, and uncertainty these conditions can create. I bring this lived experience into my therapeutic approach, offering an environment where clients feel understood, validated, and supported.

I integrate research-informed interventions with a compassionate, collaborative style. My therapeutic framework blends cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, and trauma-informed practices designed to help clients manage anxiety, depression, body-image concerns, medical trauma, and the emotional toll of chronic symptoms. I focus on helping women navigate the emotional impacts of hormonal fluctuations through evidence-based techniques with compassion and a holistic understanding of the mind-body connection. I am passionate about helping women manage the emotional impact of hormonal changes, build resilience, and reclaim a sense of balance and self-worth throughout every stage of life.

My goal is to help women reclaim a sense of empowerment, learn to advocate for their health, and build a healthier relationship with their bodies. I am committed to walking alongside clients as they navigate complex medical systems, fertility challenges, and the ongoing demands of living with chronic hormonal conditions.
